Shat Gamboj Mosque

In mid-15th century, a Muslim colony was founded in the inhospitable mangrove forest of the Sundarbans near the seacoast in the Bagerhat district by a genious architect Ulug Khan Jahan Ali.In Bengali Shat means the number 60. Though it is called Shat Gambuj Mosjid, actually the numbers of Gamboj in the mosque are 81.

I love tour very dearly.Every year I try to my best to go to the new place. Already I was visited Shat gambuj mosque,Star mosque,Lalbag fort.These are our historical place and they attract me very much.Next year i will try to visit Khustia and Sylhet.
